All transactions are covered by these conditions unless they are varied by special terms and conditions in writing between the parties.
Discounts quoted are only applicable where a contract is with Car Glazing.
Prices are subject to alteration without prior notification, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Net price are occasions when windscreens, heated rear windows, sunroofs and body glass can only be obtained from main dealers. Prices will be supplied on application.
Normal working hours
Monday to Friday 0830 – 1700 (Excluding bank holidays), Saturdays 0830 – 1300
Out of hours charges
Work carried out outside normal working hours and on bank holidays will incur an additional charge, unless otherwise agreed.
Where glasses are bonded/directly glazed to the vehicle, bonding kits are included in the list price, unless otherwise stated. This type of fitting places certain restrictions on both the technician and the driver, in terms of drive away times. In some instances especially where twin air-bags are fitted, there may be a requirement to use a rapid cure urethane for which there may be an additional fee.
If a windscreen is deemed repairable by the attending glazier, Car Glazing will attempt to repair the windscreen in preference to replacement.
When such items as replacement weather strips, chrome surrounds, rubber surrounds etc. are supplied, these will be charged additionally and are not subject to any discount. Resealing work and repairs to laminated windscreens are not subject to any discount.
Mobile fitting service
Where possible we will endeavor to provide a mobile service, however in some instances due to degree of difficulty or tooling requirements, certain installations may need to be completed at a Car Glazing branch. From time to time adverse weather conditions may hinder repairing and replacing glass on a mobile basis. On these occasions alternative arrangements regarding location or time may be discussed.
All replacement work carried out by Car Glazing is guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle. This covers installation, workmanship and leakage. Any rectification work necessary will be carried out during normal working hours. Such a guarantee will apply provided that no exclusion is recorded at the time due to prior bodywork corrosion/damage or inclement weather conditions. These would be noted on either pre-installation check sheet and/or invoice. Further, the guarantee shall not apply while our charge remains out outstanding after the agreed payment terms have elapsed.
Work carried out on the customer’s vehicle which does not arise under the terms of guarantee above and/or where the customer does not supply the glass will be carried out entirely at the customer’s risk.
Unless agreed by special arrangement, customers shall be required to pay on completion of the job. Bona-fide trade, fleet, and insurance companies with a trading account in place shall be required to pay within 30 days of invoice date.
Ownership of goods shall not pass to the customer until payment in full has been received. If the customer is in default of payment, the company shall, without prejudice to any rights or remedies available to the company, be entitled to recover possession of goods supplied.
Where retrospective payments and rebates have been agreed, retrospective payments will not be made if monies are still owing or the account is overdue.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
